Nanosized MCM-22 zeolite using simple non-surfactant organic growth modifiers: synthesis and catalytic application

Abstract

Non-surfactant cyclic alkylammonium can selectivelly decresae the rate of crystal growth along the x-y crystal axes during the synthesis of MWW zeolite. This results in a 60 nm nanocrystalline zeolite that shows remarkable catalytic properties for the production of cumene.
