A synthetic approach toward a pH and sugar-responsive diblock copolymer via post-polymerization modification†
Abstract
A well-defined diblock copolymer featuring boronic acid moieties prepared by sequential RAFT polymerization and post-polymerization modification via active-ester amine chemistry provides a straightforward pathway to the synthesis of boronic acid block polymers. The self-assembly of these diblock copolymers was responsive to the change in pH and the presence of sugar.
