A unique non-interpenetrated open-framework chalcogenide with a large cavity

Abstract

Reported here is a unique non-interpenetrated open-framework metal chalcogenide built on a supertetrahedral [Fe4In16S35]14− cluster. The non-interpenetrated feature accompanied with the relatively large-sized cluster leads to a high extra-framework volume.
