Supramolecular main-chain polycatenanes formed by orthogonal metal ion coordination and pillar[5]arene-based host–guest interaction

Abstract

Herein, the themes of coordination-driven self-assembly, host–guest interaction, and supramolecular polymerization are unified in an orthogonal fashion to deliver main-chain supramolecular polycatenanes.
