Electrospinning of crystalline MoO3@C nanofibers for high-rate lithium storage†
Abstract
MoO3@C nanofibers have been successfully synthesized by electrospinning the Mo precursor with polyvinyl pyrrolidone (PVP), followed by annealing. When tested as an anode material, the as-synthesized MoO3@C nanofibers could deliver a high discharge capacity of 623 mA h g−1 after 100 cycles at 500 mA g−1, and 502 mA h g−1 even at 1000 mA g−1.
