                    Abstract
Two types of cryptand-based host–guest complexes were constructed successfully, in which P![[double bond, length as m-dash]](https://www.rsc.org/images/entities/char_e001.gif) O functional groups were located at the different positions of the third arms. Consequently, supramolecular poly[2]pseudorotaxanes with almost linear and zigzag shapes were formed in the solid state.
O functional groups were located at the different positions of the third arms. Consequently, supramolecular poly[2]pseudorotaxanes with almost linear and zigzag shapes were formed in the solid state.
