Synthesis and improved emission characteristics of BCNO@silica composites

Abstract

BCNO@silica composites were synthesized by a solution impregnation method, sintered at 800 °C. Because of facile synthesis, narrow width PL emission due to confined particles, high quantum efficiency of ∼60% (λemission 450 nm), and low refractive index BCNO@silica composites explore potential application in optoelectronic devices.
