Carbon nanofiber supported copper nanoparticles catalyzed Ullmann-type coupling reactions under ligand-free conditions

Abstract

A carbon nanofiber supported copper nanoparticle (CuNP/CNF) catalyst was prepared and used for Ullmann-type couplings under ligand-free conditions. The catalyst exhibited high catalytic activity in C–O and C–N bond formation couplings.
