Metal organic framework (MOF) micro/nanopillars

Abstract

In this work, we report the realization of MOF-based micro/nanopillars, a new generation of MOF structures, prepared from surface-assisted self-assembly processes at room temperature. Cu(BTC)·3H2O and Zn(ADC)·DMSO were used as two model systems to demonstrate the formation of vertical MOF pillars on gold surfaces.
