Cyano-disubstituted dipyrrolopyrazinedione (CNPzDP) small molecules for solution processed n-channel organic thin-film transistors

Abstract

We synthesized new n-type small molecule semiconductors containing dipyrrolo[2,3-b:2′,3′-e]pyrazine-2,6(1H,5H)-dione (PzDP), which are potentially useful for solution-processed n-channel organic thin film transistors (OTFTs). Electron mobilities of up to 0.16 cm2 V−1 s−1 were achieved for devices fabricated and measured under ambient conditions.
