A facile strategy for crystal engineering of Cu2O polyhedrons with high-index facets

Abstract

A facile strategy for crystal engineering of Cu2O polyhedrons with high-index facets has been developed in the system of CuSO4/NaOH/ascorbic acid. In addition, novel micron-sized Cu2O 74-facet polyhedrons with high-index {744} and {211} facets were firstly achieved in the process of systematic shape evolution.
