A facile procedure for magnetic fluids using room temperature ionic liquids

Abstract

Room temperature ionic liquids have been employed to facilitate a green pathway for the preparation of magnetic fluids. Co nanoparticles were initially synthesized in ionic liquids. For the manufacturing of magnetic fluids, the particles were extracted into diverse organic carrier media by utilizing a surfactant.
