Modulating the singlet oxygen generation property of meso–β directly linked BODIPY dimers

Abstract

We report the synthesis, X-ray analysis and singlet oxygen generation properties of a set of mesoβ directly linked BODIPYs with the meso–aryl group (φ1) and meso–BODIPY component (φ2) free to rotate or constrained.
