Tight bifunctional hierarchical catalyst

Abstract

A new concept to prepare tight bifunctional catalysts has been developed, by anchoring CoMo6 clusters on hierarchical ZSM-5 zeolites for simultaneous use in HDS and hydrocracking catalysis. The prepared material displays a significant improved activity in HDS catalysis compared to the impregnated counterpart.
