Rapid (∼10 min) synthesis of single-crystalline, nanorice TiO2 mesoparticles with a high photovoltaic efficiency of above 8%

Abstract

A novel rapid (∼10 min) microwave-hydrothermal synthesis is demonstrated for nanorice TiO2 mesoparticles as an anode of a dye-sensitized solar cell with an excellent photovoltaic efficiency of above 8%.
