For the first time, the propagation rate coefficient kp of acrylonitrile has been determined in a broad temperature range in propylene carbonate solution via the pulsed laser polymerizationsize exclusion chromatography technique employing a high frequency pulsed laser system. kp was determined to fit the Arrhenius relation ln(kp/L mol−1 s−1) = 14.42 − 1855K/T.
