Facile polyisobutylene functionalization viathiol–ene click chemistry

Abstract

Thiolene click chemistry was adapted to easily and rapidly modify exo-olefin polyisobutylene with an array of thiol compounds bearing useful functionalities, including primary halogen, primary amine, primary hydroxyl, and carboxylic acid.
