Blue to green shifted fluorescence in inter- and intramolecular hydrogen bonded di(benzimidazol-2-yl)benzene

Abstract

Interconversion of intermolecular H-bonded di(benzimidazol-2-yl)benzene to an intramolecular H-bonded isomer shows a strong blue to green shifted fluorescence.
