C2-symmetric chiral tetrathiafulvalene-bis(oxazolines) (TTF-BOX): new precursors for organic materials and electroactive metal complexes

Abstract

Chiral C2-symmetric electroactive bis(oxazolines) containing an EDT-TTF (ethylenedithio-tetrathiafulvalene) backbone, as promising multifunctional ligands and precursors for chiral molecular materials, were synthesized and structurally characterized, together with octahedral molybdenum and tungsten carbonyl complexes.
