Amphiphilic block copolymers based on cyclodextrinhost–guest complexes via RAFT-polymerization in aqueous solution

Abstract

We present—for the first time—the synthesis of amphiphilic block copolymersvia RAFT polymerization of a randomly methylated β-CD-complexed hydrophobic acrylamide and hydrophilic N,N′-dimethylacrylamide from homogeneous aqueous solution.
