Regioselective 12CO/13CO exchange activity of a mixed-valent Fe(ii)Fe(i) model of the Hox state of [FeFe]-hydrogenase

Abstract

A mixed-valent Fe(II)Fe(I) model of the Hox state of [FeFe]-hydrogenase is shown, under certain conditions, to exhibit regioselective 12CO/13CO exchange activity similar to that observed for Hox.
