Unprecedented optically induced long-lived intramolecular electron transfer in cobalt–dioxolene complexes

Abstract

The observation of very long lifetimes of the metastable states of two cobalt–dioxolene complexes undergoing photoinduced and high Tc thermally-induced valence tautomer interconversion opens new research perspectives.
