Diversity in magnetic properties of 3D isomorphous networks of Co(ii) and Mn(ii) constructed by napthalene-1,4-dicarboxylate

Abstract

Two novel 3D isomorphous organic–inorganic hybrid frameworks, [M(1,4-napdc)]n ( M = Co(II), 1 and Mn(II), 2; 1,4-napdcH2 = napthalene-1,4-dicarboxylic acid) have been hydrothermally synthesized and structurally characterized, and the magnetic results exhibit metamagnetic behaviour (TC = 5.5 K) for 1, and a weak antiferromagnetic interaction for 2, which are structurally correlated.
