Stereoselective formation of dinuclear complexes with anomalous CD spectra

Abstract

A novel chiral tetradentate Schiff base ligand forms dinuclear Λ,Λ-[M2L2Cl2]2+ complexes with high diastereoselectivity; the complexes exhibit anomalous CD spectra due to exciton coupling of chromophores located on different metal centres.
