Abstract

A novel donor-type metal–dithiolene complex, Ni(edo)2 [edo = 5,6-dihydro-1,4-dioxine-2,3-dithiolate], and its mixed-ligand derivatives were synthesized and characterized. Their improved solubility and donor abilities have been confirmed. They provide various types of radical cation salts which exhibit novel donor arrangements.
