Solvothermal synthesis of [Ni(C4H13N3)2]2Sb 4S8: the first compound with a cyclic [Sb4S8]4− anion
Abstract
Under mild hydrothermal conditions the novel thioantimonate(III) [Ni(C4H13N3)2]2Sb 4S8 was synthesised using elemental nickel, antimony and sulfur; the structure is composed of cyclic isolated [Sb4S8]4− anions and [Ni(C4H13N3)2]2+ cations.
