Visualization of DNA microarrays by scanning electrochemical microscopy (SECM)

Abstract

DNA duplex regions of the spots on a DNA microarray were successfully visualized by scanning electrochemical microscopy (SECM) in the electrolyte containing ferrocenyl naphthalene diimide as a hybridization indicator.
