Focus Analyst in the sky: satellite-based remote sensing

Abstract

In April, NASA scientists released remarkable new images, the first from the Terra satellite launched in December last year. The data flowing back from Terra, and similar missions to be launched over the next few years, promises a revolution in our understanding of the Earth’s climate and environmental systems.
