cis-Di(μ-trifluoroacetate)dirhodium tetracarbonyl: structure and chemistry

Abstract

The dirhodium(I) complex Rh2(μ-O2CCF3)2(CO)4 has been prepared by reduction of Rh2(μ-O2CCF3)4 with CO in the vapor phase and its crystal structure reveals a polymeric nature with dinuclear molecules aligned along the metal–metal axis.
