Synthesis and molecular structure of bis(pyrazolyl) (3,5-di-tert-butylpyrazolyl)hydroborato thallium: a hetero-tris(pyrazolyl)- hydroborato ligand derived from two different pyrazoles

Abstract

The hetero-tris(pyrazolyl)hydroborato thallium complex [HB(pz)2(pzBut2)]Tl, derived from two different pyrazoles, may be obtained by the reaction of LiBH4 with a mixture of pyrazole and 3,5-di-tert-butylpyrazole, followed by treatment with Tl(O2CMe).
