3,7-Dimethyl-3,7-diazabicyclo[3.3.1]nonane-2,6-dione-1,5-dicarboxylic acid derivatives: synthesis, structure and resolution

Abstract

Diamide monohydrate 6 was found to form a conglomerate (space group P21), and it was spontaneously resolved by crystallisation; esters 1 and 2 were optically enriched by classical methods; the above compounds were structurally characterised by NMR spectroscopy and X-ray analysis.
