A two-dimensional organic–inorganic material constructed from copper-dipyridylamine and vanadate chains: [Cu(dpa)VO3]†

Abstract

The hydrothermal reaction of a mixture of CuCl2, NaVO3, 4,4′-dipyridylamine (dpa) and Et4NOH in water yields [Cu(dpa)VO3], a material constructed from one-dimensional {VO2O2/2}n–n chains and {Cu(dpa)}n+n chains linked into a two-dimensional framework.
