Enumeration of fullerene derivatives C70Xm of given symmetries

Abstract

All possible derivatives CnXm arising from exo addition of atoms to the fullerene C70 (D5h) are counted and assigned to symmetry groups using the method of marks, a group-theoretical recipe which is applicable to parents of any symmetry.
