An efficient preparation of ditopic receptors based on polyaza[n]paracyclophanes

Abstract

Coordination patterns of tetraaza[n]paracyclophanes allow for the selective protection of three out of the four nitrogen atoms via the use of simple Zn2+ salts; accordingly, a simple method for the preparation of ditopic receptors based on polyaza[n]paracyclophanes has been devised.
