Time resolved fluorimmunoassay of abscisic acid in potato leaves

Abstract

A monoclonal antibody to abscisic acid (ABA) was obtained and employed in a time-resolved fluoroimmunoassay for ABA content in potato leaf extracts. The useful range of the logarithmic calibration graph was 0.05–50 pmol well1. Comparison with ELISA gave the linear regression y = 0.99x + 1.93; the coefficient of correlation was r = 0.96.
