Surface-enhanced resonance Raman spectroscopic identification of chlorophyll a allomers

Abstract

Protected surface-enhanced resonance Raman spectroscopy (PSERRS) has been used to study the chlorophyll a allomers, enabling both Soret- and Qy-resonant spectra to be acquired with good analytical sensitivity. Spectral assignments have been made which provide a two-dimensional ‘fingerprint’ and detailed structural information concerning each allomer.
