Abstract

Dialkyl 1,2-dihydroquinoline-2,3-dicarboxylates are formed in a one-pot reaction from amide derivatives of 2-aminobenzaldehyde, dialkyl acetylenedicarboxylates and triphenylphosphine in CH 2 Cl 2 in high yields.
