Overcrowding leads to prism reform: new polyhedra for polymetallic cages

Abstract

The synthesis and crystal structure of new deca- and octa-nuclear cages featuring the ligands 6-methyl-2-pyridonate and trimethylacetate (OCCMe3) have been determined; the structures involve polyhedra based on a tetraicosahedron and a cube respectively.
