The new mixed-valence vanadium oxide [(HN(C2H4)3NH)][V6O14]·H2O contains layers of composition [(V5+)2(V4+)4O14]2– with protonated [HN(C2H4)3NH]2+ dications and water molecules in the interlayer region.
