Hydrocarbons in water: analysis using on-line aqueous supercritical fluid extraction–fourier transform infrared spectroscopy

Abstract

An aqueous supercritical fluid extraction vessel has been directly coupled to an FTIR spectrometer. This combination has enabled the analysis of dodecane in water ranging from 200 to 12.5 ppm.
