Adsorption from associated binary solutions by porous carbon

Abstract

Adsorption by porous carbon from associated binary aqueous solutions is analysed by application of a porefilled mechanism. The isotherm parameters, obtained by this mechanism, together with binary bulk enthalpy of mixing data, are used to calculate enthalpies of immersion which are compared with measured enthalpies of immersion.
