An intramolecular W–H ⋯ O[double bond, length half m-dash]C hydrogen bond? Electrosynthesis and X-ray crystallographic structure of [WH31-OCOMe)(Ph2PCH2CH2PPh2)2]

Abstract

Electrochemical reduction of [WH22-OCOMe)(dppe)2]+ in the presence of protons leads to the formation of [WH31-OCOMe)(dppe)2]: NMR and X-ray crystallographic data suggest this complex possesses an unprecedented W–H ⋯ O[double bond, length half m-dash]C intramolecular hydrogen bond.
