Abstract

Treatment of [Pt(PPh3)2(C2H4)] with As[triple bond, length half m-dash]C(C6H2But3) affords the title compound, the X-ray crystal structure of which shows the arsaalkyne ligand to be η2-ligated; the X-ray crystal structure of the parent arsaalkyne is also reported.
