Selective membrane electrodes for analysis

Abstract

Characteristics of potentiometric ion-selective electrodes, based on solvent polymeric systems with liquid ion-exchanger, acyclic polyether- and crown ether-type sensors, are discussed in the first part of the paper. In the second part, amperometric-type enzyme electrodes based on oxidase enzymes immobilized on nylon fabric, including examples of multi-enzyme membrane systems, are discussed.
