Non-aqueous routes to a new polyoxotungstate

Abstract

183 W NMR studies of a non-aqueous associative and dissociative reactions designed to produce [W2O7]2– have instead revealed the formation of new polytungstate which contains five types of tungsten and reacts with a variety of organic substrates to produce functionalised polyoxotungstates.
