A new phosphine-stabilized sulfido trinuclear cobalt species. Synthesis and structure of [Co33-S)2(µ-SH)2(µ-PEt2)(PHEt2)6][ClO4]2

Abstract

A new triangular cluster of formula [Co33-S)2(µ-SH)2(µ-PEt2)(PHEt2)6][ClO4]2 has been synthesized by reaction of [Co(H2O)6][ClO4]2 with PHEt2 and H2S; its structure has been determined by X-ray analysis and NMR spectroscopy.
