Surface-phase heterogeneity in the benzene–silicalite system
Abstract
Variable-temperature deuterium NMR experiments of [2H6]benzene sorbed in silicalite reveal two discrete adsorption sites of differing adsorbate mobility corresponding to benzene preferentially adsorbed in mid-channel positions and molecules subsequently occupying channel intersections.
