Abstract

Product ion studies indicate that the collision-induced loss of N2 from deprotonated aryl diazomethyl ketones yields an ion formed by Wolff rearrangement, e.g. PhCO [graphic omitted]→N2+ Ph[graphic omitted] → PhC2O
