Chromovanadates

Abstract

Vanadium-51 and 17O NMR evidence is presented for the chromovanadate species [V10O27(OCrO3)]6–, [HV10O27(OCrO3)]5–, [VO2(OCrO3)2]3– and [V2O5(OCrO3)2]4–. In all of these, [CrO4]2– competes as a ligand with [OH] and attaches in a similar way to vanadium.
