The X-ray crystal structure of [Mn2(µ-LL)4(NCS)2](NCS)2[LL = Ph2P(O)(CH2)3P(O)Ph2], a dinuclear complex that reversibly absorbs five molecules of sulphur dioxide

Abstract

The X-ray crystal structure of the dinuclear complex, [Mn2(µ-LL)4(NCS)2](NCS)2, is reported; this cage molecule reversibly binds sulphur dioxide in a 1 : 5 cage : sulphur dioxide ratio.
